Saturday 19 May, 2012 – Sydney, Australia
An early start for a Saturday morning, we jumped on a Captain Cook ferry and tucked into a cooked brekkie (much needed for some, but I had Special K and yogurt) on our way over to Luna Park. I really like Luna Park with it’s creepy 50’s carny theme, although with 52 appointments in their conference facility Crystal Palace, there wasn’t much time for riding the rickety looking rollercoaster. That and I couldn’t get Final Destination 3 in 3D off my mind.
After a days worth of 7 minute buzzer meetings (kind of like speed dating) with Tourism Operators from all over New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland, we ferried to Sydney’s quaint Italian village, where we were entertained during dinner by drag queens (Sydney is famous for drag) with names like Penny Tration.
