Sunday 20 May, 2012 – Sydney, Australia
Another early start today with breakfast in the hotel – very nice, including an egg chef and a juice maker (that’s if you go to the right room, which I didn’t). We then ferried to Luna Park for the second day of 7 minutes in heaven. Just another wee tip, if you happen to charter a Captain Cook ship, be aware that public ferries always take priority and any ships docked in their way must be moved.
At the end of the day we were transferred back across the harbour for the last time, but we were late due to the public ferry needing to dock at Luna Park – it was touch and go as to whether we’d make it back to the hotel in time to catch our bus transfer to the airport. Fortunately we made it on time and flew Virgin Australia to Melbourne – it was a short and sweet service.
Booked into the Sebel Hotel on Collins Street, a beautiful historical building which used to be a bank and is still fitted with all it’s old teller booths.
Zzzzzzz!
